Sony High Speed Hdmi Cable

HDMI cable?and wires?PS3?

i have a PS3, and i got a new lcd 52” sony HD tv…..i got a HDMI monster cable “advanced high speed”……do i have to have the PS3 wires in first like the blue, green, red , white wires in….the ones that you put into the TV for the visual and audio?? OR what? have the HDMI cable in and the others wires or jsu tthe HDMI cables are enough??????

HDMI cables are enough. You may have to hook up the composite cables up first to get to the setting to change the video output to hdmi. My LCD was blank when using the HDMI cable. I had to use the regular hookup too see the screen so then I could change it over to HDMI 1080p output.
